A Costa & Ferreira Bakery
obtained the certification for "Pão Regional de Rio Maior," making it
the first certified traditional bakery product at a national level.
Simultaneously, the company also
achieved certification in the ISO 22,000 standard for Food Safety Management
Systems.
To further enhance food safety in
all stages of the production process, the company has an internal laboratory
dedicated to microbiology, allowing for quicker and more effective results in
all its processes. Additionally, it has implemented the BRC Food standard,
raising safety standards to an international level.
Recently, the company is also
preparing to certify its Occupational Health and Safety Management System
through the ISO 45,001 standard.
