BREAD MADE WITH DARK RIO MAIOR FLOUR AND CHESTNUTS.

Preparation Time: 45 minutes

Serves 3 People

INGREDIENTS:

3 slices of Dark Rio Maior Bread; 
200g of cooked chestnuts; 
300ml of milk; 
100ml of oil; 
2 eggs; 
80g of cornflour; 
200g of brown sugar; 
1 teaspoon of cinnamon; 
1 teaspoon of fennel; 
A pinch of salt.

PREPARATION:

1. Grind the Dark Rio Maior Bread in a blender and set aside;
2. Grind the chestnuts;
3. Combine milk, oil, 2 eggs, sugar, cinnamon, and fennel in a blender and blend;
4. Add the bread and cornflour;
5. Shape the broas and bake in a preheated oven at 180º for 30 minutes;
6. Sprinkle with sugar before serving.
