APPLE WITH RIO MAIOR SLICED BREAD

Difficulty Level: Medium
Serves 4 People

INGREDIENTS:

6 slices of Rio Maior Sliced Bread;
3 Eggs;
½ cup of Milk;
1 teaspoon of Vanilla Extract;
1 tablespoon of Cinnamon;
3 Green Apples;
1 cup Brown Sugar;
3 tablespoons of Cornstarch.

PREPARATION:

1. Preheat the oven to 175ºC for 5 minutes;
2. Then, cut the bread slices into cubes;
3. Mix the eggs, vanilla, milk, and cinnamon, stirring well;
4. Add the bread cubes to the mixture and fold in;
5. Place the mixture in a round baking dish;
6. In a bowl, mix the apples previously cut into cubes with sugar and cornstarch. 
7. Stir and place it over the bread in the baking dish;
8. Bake for 40 minutes at 180ºC.

SUGGESTION: Serve with vanilla ice cream and caramel topping.
