BREAD PUDDING RIO MAIOR

Serves 4 People

INGREDIENTS:


300g Rio Maior Bread;
200g Brown Sugar;
4 Large Eggs or 5 Medium Eggs;
500ml Warm Milk;
1 Teaspoon Cinnamon or alternatively, 1 Glass of Port Wine;
Caramel to taste.

PREPARATION:

1. Cut the Rio Maior Bread into pieces and soak it in warm milk;
2. Place the sugar in the blender and grind it into powder. Add the eggs and cinnamon and mix everything;
3. Next, add the soaked Rio Maior Bread and blend well;
4. Finally, place the mixture in a previously caramelized mold and bake at 180°C in a water bath for about 1 hour.
5. Decorate as desired.
