SWEET TORRICADO WITH RIO MAIOR BREAD

Serves 1 People

INGREDIENTS:

1 Slice of Rio Maior Bread;
2 Slices of Penela or Rabaçal Cheese;
Fig Jam with Walnut, to taste.

PREPARATION:

1. Preheat the oven to 180ºC for 2 or 3 minutes;
2. Cut a sheet of aluminum foil and assemble the slice of bread with the cheese slices and jam;
3. Fold the aluminum foil to create a space between the foil and the jam;
4. Bake for 10 minutes at 180ºC.

SUGGESTION: You can also make it in the fireplace, as torricados were traditionally made in the past.
